This number can be bumped up to 12,750 pounds by opting for the 5.7L V8 with eTorque. Another option is the EcoDiesel 3.0L V6, which hauls up to 12,560 pounds with 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, the Ram 1500 TRX comes exclusively with a 6.2L supercharged V8. This monster of a truck rips out a hellish 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, taking you from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds. As standard equipment, all Ram 1500 engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission powering a rear-wheel drivetrain. However, the most common here in Ohio is a 4x4 drivetrain, as it is better suited for our unpredictable weather. 

For the 2023 Ram 1500, designers pulled out all the stops, making new features available for the lineup. The most notable of these new features is the available 12-inch fully-digital gauge cluster. The Tradesman trim starts the Ram 1500 lineup, offering exterior features like power-adjustable heated side mirrors, 18-inch steel wheels, active grille shutters, and more. The Rebel takes you to the trails with off-roading suspension, a locking rear axle, 33-inch all-terrain tires, black wheel flares, a sport-performance hood, and Selec-Speed. Topping off the lineup is the Limited trim, adding the Advanced Safety Group, 20-inch polished alloy wheels, air suspension, a 12-inch touchscreen, leather upholstery, and much more.
