At the mid-point of the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup lies the Trailhawk, an off-road machine filled with athletic features to help you navigate any kind of terrain! The Trailhawk comes equipped with standard 4-wheel drive featuring the Quadra-Drive II 4X4 system and a 2-speed transfer case. The Trailhawk features Goodyear all-terrain tires, skid plates, and front tow hooks that stand up against off-road trails, and can even ford up to 24 inches of water with the help of the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension system. For the entire Grand Cherokee lineup, there are two possible powertrains. The standard engine is the 3.6-liter V6 rated at 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. There’s also the available 5.7-liter V8, which delivers 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are exceptionally muscular, with the V6 offering a 6,200-pound maximum towing capacity, which increases to 7,200 pounds with the V8. Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive is available across the board!

One of the most prominent upgrades you’ll find in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee compared to previous models is its modern technology for both safety and entertainment purposes! The standard setup includes an all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, with either an 8.4-inch or 10.1-inch touchscreen depending on the trim level. Other tech features for the Grand Cherokee include a wireless smartphone charging pad, a 115-volt household-style outlet, an integrated navigation system, and a 9-speaker Alpine audio system. With the Summit Reserve package, you can even upgrade your listening experience with the 19-speaker McIntosh luxury sound system.

As we mentioned above, the New Grand Cherokee allows drivers to choose whether they prefer a 2-row or 3-row seating configuration. In either case, you’ll be able to fold down the rear seats in order to open up a spacious rear cargo area, with up to 84.6 cubic feet of space! The Laredo trim kicks things off with standard features like LED exterior lighting, 17-inch wheels, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Limited trim is up next, with added features like leather upholstery, heated seats in the front and rear, and LED fog lights for enhanced visibility. The Trailhawk has a bold and athletic appearance, complete with a Trailhawk hood decal, and a Gloss Black roof. The Overland is the perfect blend of both sleek and sporty features, including Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, a power-folding rear-seat bench, and a hands-free power liftgate. It also features an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. The Summit trim is at the top of the lineup, with an overall luxurious look and feel. At this level, you’ll find features like massaging front seats, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
