About the Jeep Wrangler 4xe
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe forges its own path as the SUV delivers all the legendary capability and the open-air freedom you would expect from the Jeep Wrangler while also adding a plug-in electric boost that is designed to take the adventure to extraordinary new places. The Wrangler 4xe can easily glides through obstacles as it can go from 0 to 60 in six seconds or less. It accomplishes this thanks to a plug-in turbocharged engine that pumps out 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque that gives you piston pumping power both on and off the road. The engine allows you to venture far into the outdoors as it gets an estimated 50 MPG rating and several E-Selec driving modes that give you optimal performance on every ride. The engine also delivers a quiet ride, so while you are off-roading, it will feel like you're floating on a cloud.
The Toledo Assembly Plant
Formerly the Stickney Plant, the Toledo Assembly Plant was built in 1942 and was originally used as a machine and engine plant. In 1981, the plant was converted to a vehicle production plant, which helped produce the Jeep Grand Wagoneer until the summer of 1991. In 1997, the Toledo Assembly Plant was used to produce the Jeep Liberty, which was eventually launched in 2001. In November 2011, the Toledo Assembly Plant financed a 260,000-square-foot expansion added to the existing body shop. Also, there is a state-of-the-art 26,000-square-foot Metrology Center built to help improve the quality of the vehicles. In May of 2016, Toledo became the first assembly plant in the United States to receive a silver designation In World Class Manufacturing. Toledo earned the silver milestone after being awarded the bronze award back in 2012.
