Covered Bridge Scenic Byway
Spanning 44 miles, the Covered Bridge Scenic Byway will take you past a number of hotspots in the state of Ohio. They include the most picturesque covered bridges, great leaf-peeping in the Wayne National Forest, take a break at the Ohio River Museum to learn more about steamboats, and stop by the Campus Martius Museum.
Gateway to Amish Country
This drive is just 30 miles, perfect for a weekend afternoon drive! If you are the type that likes to get out of the car and stretch your legs, there are a number of hiking trails along the route including the Mohican Valley Trail. There is also a 370-foot covered bridge on this route called the Bridge of Dreams in Birkhaven.
Lake Erie Coastal Highway
Just under 180 miles long, this journey is the perfect mix of country and urban. Taking you along the shores of Lake Erie and through Cleveland, with some of the best nature scenes along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop and take the most beautiful photos. You can also stop at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along the way!
Lower Valley Pike Scenic Byway
Looking for a short and sweet ride that can be done before the sun sets after work? The Lower Valley Pike Scenic Byway is the one for you! The byway itself is just 11 miles long but it offers stunning views of the Mad River. You can stop for a picnic dinner at George Rogers Clark Park which is the site of an American Revolutionary War battle.
