RAM Reveals Classic Warlock Edition

Originally part of the 1976 Dodge line of vehicles, the first Warlock was a factory-personalized pickup that was able to play just as hard as it was able to work. And it certainly knew how to work. It was instantly a fan favorite and remained as such for the length of its three years of production, no doubt aided by its bucket seats, gold accent stripes, fancy wheels, oak sideboards, fat tires, and chrome running boards. The Warlock was summoned once again, this time in the form of the 2019 Ram 1500 Warlock special edition. This updated version retained a connection with its roots by offering a factory-customized truck that’s well-equipped and bounding with value, style, and capability. 

The 2019 Warlock had two engine options available to choose from. The first option and standard engine of the line is an award-winning 3.5-liter Pentastar V6, which is able to pump out 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that runs all the way up to 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Both of the options come equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission regardless of 4x4, 4x2, Crew Cab, or Quad Cab configuration. 

When it comes to special features, the Warlock will came with heavy-duty rear shocks, a RAM-lettered black grille, unique hood decals, black aluminum semi-gloss 20-inch wheels, tow hooks, powder-coated bumpers, black badging, 1-inch factory lift, LED rear tail lamps, wheel flares in black, dark bezel projector headlamps, and LED fog lamps. What’s more, in addition to Diesel Grey cloth upholstered seating the Warlock also features the Ram 1500 Classic’s ParkSense rear park assist and Luxury group package that includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, folding mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED bed lighting, an overhead console, and a 7-inch cluster display.

With its wide swath of segment exclusives and features that are ever important to truck buyers, the Ram 1500 Class was already quite the sight to behold. With a link-coil rear suspension that’s unique to the 1500 Classic, the handling and overall ride is simply amazing. Additionally, new badging for the front fenders, RamBox bedside storage, a flat-load floor, and hidden bins are all features of the 1500 Classic. All those and more are the kinds of things that work together to make the new Warlock Special edition as amazing as it can be.
