All-Electric Ram Truck Revealed

One of the main reasons that the Ram 1500 Revolution is such a landmark release for the heritage brand is that it is the first Ram ever to feature a battery-operated powertrain that does not utilize gas. The Ram Revolution is a battery-electric vehicle, also known as a BEV. It has a powertrain that features two electric drive modules, or EDMs, located at either end of the vehicle to balance the weight. These motors get their power from a rechargeable battery pack. This innovative battery-operated powertrain will completely eliminate the need for gas, so you can enjoy emissions-free drives while also saving money in the long run! Plus, the total lack of an engine means that you no longer have to worry about oil changes, exhaust maintenance, or replacing the engine air filter. With an 800-volt fast-charging DC cable, you can gain up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging time!

In many ways, the Ram 1500 Revolution maintains many of the same design features as the classic Ram 1500 you know and love! There’s a recognizable silhouette packed with new features that enhance your experience on the road. For example, the Ram 1500 Revolution features a new front-facing trunk, which takes advantage of the empty space left behind where an engine would normally be. This trunk, called the “frunk,” features a one-touch power open and close system, and lets you maximize your storage space. Of course, there’s also the spacious flatbed in the rear for larger cargo. In terms of interior space, entrances and exits are made easier by “saloon-style” side doors that can open wide for easy access. Other features include tuning fork-shaped LED headlights, and a RAM emblem across the grille.

In addition to all of its new and improved features, the Ram 1500 Revolution also has many exciting design features that create a stylish and comfortable pickup truck from every angle!
