Drivers can also opt for the available 5.7-liter V8, creating 410 lb-ft of torque and 395 hp, with or without the addition of the eTorque technology. The final engine is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, pumping out 650 lb-ft of torque and 702 hp, under the hood of the TRX trim level. All engines are paired with an automatic 8-speed transmission and while RWD is standard 4WD is available.

2021 Ford F-150 Power & Handling

There are six engines powering the F-150 lineup. The base engine is a 3.3-liter V6 that pumps out 265 lb-ft of torque and 290 hp. Drivers can choose from available engines like the 2.7-liter turbocharged V6, 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, a 5.0-liter V8, or a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6. The final engine is a 3.5-liter V6 paired with an electric motor and battery pack to create 570 lb-ft of torque and 430 hp. RWD is standard but 4WD is available and all engines are paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission.

2021 Ram 1500 Features & Design

In total, there are seven Ram 1500 trims to pick from in the 2021 model year. There are only six Ford F-150 trim levels to choose from in the 2021 model year. The base trim is outfitted with features like manual windows and mirrors, trailer sway control, an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, air conditioning, and vinyl flooring. The other F-150 trims add cruise control, a power-locking tailgate, fog lights, leather upholstery, automatic dual-zone climate control, remote engine start, LED bed lighting, heated front and rear seats, wireless smartphone charging, a premium sound system, and a two panel moonroof.
