Taking the 1500 off-roading on the toughest trails with immense speed, the TRX comes outfitted with features to help get the job done. They include a total of five underbody skid plates to protect the most important parts of the truck, a 2-inch suspension lift, upgraded brakes, Bilstein adaptive dampers with remote reservoirs, an electronic locking differential, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a Dana 60 solid rear axle.
What kind of engine power does the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX boast?
Under the hood of the TRX lies an engine that pumps out the best-in-class torque and horsepower, making an authentic noise that is sure to impress! This supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine delivers up to 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. With this power, the TRX can sail from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds! This engine’s high-performance air induction system is capable of filtering out four times as much debris and dirt as the competitors while taking in 32.9 liters of air per minute.

The TRX boasts Ram’s suite of customizable performance and off-road pages that are designed to allow drivers to tailor the TRX’s performance to their wants and needs. All of these pages can be accessed via the truck’s 12-inch touch screen and digital cluster. The dashboard monitors personal records, steering angle measurements, and horsepower readings as well as much more. The vehicle dynamics page lets the driver control the optimal steering angle, modulate the transfer case gearing, and lock the axles.
