2021 Jeep Compass Power & Handling

Each Compass model houses the same engine in the 2021 model year. This 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine creates up to 175 pound-feet of torque and 180 horsepower. Front wheel drive is the standard drivetrain configuration and it outfits the Compass with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available for all trims but standard with the Trailhawk trim level, and with it, the Compass is outfitted with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer Power & Handling

There are two engines powering the Trailblazer lineup. The base engine is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder that produces up to 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Chevrolet pairs this engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The second engine offered for the Trailblazer is a 1.3-liter 3-cylinder that generates 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

There are four Compass trim levels to choose from. The base model is called the Sport and it is outfitted with first- and second-row USB ports, steel wheels, a 6-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear bench seat with 60/40-split folding, the Uconnect infotainment system, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The Trailhawk trim level adds additional features like hill descent control, all-terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and a raised suspension.

Chevrolet offers the Trailblazer in five trim levels.
